Who We Are
Boonton Main Street is a stand-alone 501c3 non-profit dedicated to increasing awareness and foot traffic to benefit Boonton's historic downtown district
Our Mission
Promoting Boonton's Main Street District

We are dedicated to promoting and celebrating Boonton’s historic downtown district. Our mission is accomplished through events, advertising, and resource sharing. The organization is overseen by a volunteer Board of Trustees; operations are managed by the Director. The Board typically meets monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at the BMS office, located on the second floor of the Boonton Holmes Public Library.

Our Method
The Main Street 4-Point Approach

Economic Vitality

Economic vitality focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive local economies.

Organization involves creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the district.

Design supports a community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart.

Promotion positions the downtown or commercial district as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases a community’s unique characteristics.
