Step back in time to the historic Darress Theater, a unique experience located on our Main Street. Retaining much of its original charm, the theater was built in 1919 with a design that took advantage of the surrounding terrain. It became the State Theater in the 40's and 50's showing movies. The Darress is one of the few surviving vaudeville stages in the country. . .today the Darress is a full-service theatre for the arts hosting both live performances and independent films.
