About Boonton Main Street

Boonton Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of the Boonton, N.J., downtown district. The organization, incorporated in 2002, utilizes an approach as defined by Main Street New Jersey, a division of the State's Department of Community Affairs.

With one paid employee and a cadre of dedicated volunteers, Boonton Main Street addresses issues covering four vital areas:
Design: aesthetics of the district, facades, landscaping, traffic, & signage
Promotions: promotions, special events & publicity
Economic Restructuring: business retention & recruitment
Organization: fundraising, volunteer recruitment & operations
